Dan fresh off his Ironman UK victory and MBE off her Ironman France and Alp d’Huez wins are ready to battle for the North American Championships this weekend. The race will take place in scenic Mt. Tremblant Canada.
The course starts with a one loop lake swim moves onto a rolling and challenging two loop bike course and finishes with a hilly two loop run on trails in the area. is ready to race the 2nd edition of Ironman Sweden.
Dan is using this race to get the last few points he needs to qualify for the Ironman World Championships in October. He told us:
I am very excited to race and hope to have a top finish against this very competitive field. I have recovered from my win in UK and can’t wait to get back out there and battle with the boys.
MBE will be using this race as a tune-up for the World Championships. She has qualified for Kona so the points aren’t an issue but she is hoping to defend her Norht American Championship. She reported in

The Doc has told me to use this race as my sharpening stone so that I am hardened up and ready for battle in Kona! Every Ironman is tough so I expect this one will be no different and I will be out there giving it my all.
Both Dan and MBE will face quality fields battling for the North American Titles. Dan faces Paul Amey, Paul Ambrose, Luke Bell, Burt Jaemer to name a few, while MBE will line up against Bek Keat, Liz Blatchford, Erica Csomor, and numerous other outstanding ladies.
