Sportivement

(English Version)

After a few weeks in the States, I could see that nothing was going right, and thus, I decided w/ Brett to come back to Europe and do a check-up. Direction Leysin where, like last year, I left everything behind for my only goal to be : "The Best you can Be (TBB)."  I joined back the main Team or the best way to get back to it.

First check, we need to rebuild as the Brazilian KO had shaken everything up ! Only when the machine will be back on track, we will be able to restate my next goals, even if races like Ironman Frankfurt, Challenge Roth, had attracted me, all of these would not have been a reasonable answer to rebuild, but a destructive one. Thus, first goals are : patience and confidence gain.

Up to his reputation, coming back to shape is out of standard : SSS method. At the beginning, I could have thought I would have a little slack back, but this would not have fit in ! Thus, the bcd in shape program launched in the French races tour in order to put back body and mind on track with : Triathlon LD Dijon, TeamTBB Alpe d'Huez camp with the Olympic distance of l'Alpe, in less than 1 month ! Now, I am in full mode Iron distance training in order to dispute Challenge Vichy, like if the KO had never been.

Being part of such group with James, Ritchie, Rei, Stephen, Dave and Skippy, as well as the Boss to keep me in place, and the come back to France, where I am grateful to all the support I have been receiving between the race organizers, volunteers, supporters, and to reconnect with my old crew, the Racine, of my 1st tri days. Well, all of these people have helped me, week by week, to reconnect with great feelings like during the run at Dijon, and to feel each week a continuous progress, that now is bringing me to my new goal : Challenge Vichy.

Yes, now I can redraw my program :

Sep Challenge Vichy (that will conclude my stage in France)

Sep 70.3 Cozumel (during which I will be part of the TeamTBB Hawaii camp, because even if not on my 2013 list, Hawaii is my ultimate goal)

Oct 70.3 Miami

Dec Ironman Cozumel

Once more many goals, many opportunities to build, even if at one point everything seemed like all had crumbled for 2013. In the end, this KO stage would have just been a learning stage and will be part of the how and why I will reach the best I can be.

Cheers

Quickly with his big smile, and his continuous joking around, Trevor was nickname the “Joker” by his fellow teamate. Quickly he also got more serious, and the rigor he found in joining Team TBB, and leaving all behind, moving to Cozumel, got him a runner-up finish at his 1st Ironman of the year, but he knows a lot more work his in front of him prior being a true contender at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.
